Re: [Killietalk] sex ratios and shell-less brineshrimp

Re dechorionating cysts: How long a you treating the eggs with Chlorox?
You should stop the reaction as soon as the cysts turn orange, probably
only 5 minutes or so. Are you using plain Chlorox without lemon scent,
etc? What volume of cysts in what volume of 50% chlorox are you using?
The reaction is very exothermic and the solution will heat up. It ought
to be cold to start with and you should use a relatively large volume.

Decysted, dechlorinated eggs yeild only a few hundred. Anyone willing to advise me how to make de-cysted eggs yeild better?
