Re: [Killietalk] Killie Question

If you have moderate to hard water try adding
rainwater, RO or distilled water to your tap water to
get softer water. My problem was they layed great but
had all infertile eggs until I did this. Notho.s
gardneris and golden wonders is all I can breed in my
hard water without adding some distilled or rainwater
to my tap for water changes.

The other issue is size of tank. With that small of
a tank maybe the parents are finding and eating the
eggs or the fry that do hatch.

So are you checking for eggs and seeing them? Have
you tried moving the eggs and see if they hatch? You
need to find out if it is a production problem(no eggs
being laid), predator problem/parents eating fry/eggs,
or fertility problem. With the fertility problems I
had the eggs would be there today and white in the
morning and gone the next
