Re: [Killietalk] 1st Coventioneer's
An easy approach might be to set up small table with a big sign saying "new
members" where such people could stop by and get some encouragement and be
made to feel welcome. Whoever is manning the table at the time could take
that person by the arm and introduce him or her to another regular. There
could also be stickers at that table (maybe a red dot or something equally
available and noticeable) that could be appended to the newbie's name tag.
A second idea is to bring Herb Axelrod to the convention. That will assure
at least that all the women get some attention.
