[Killietalk] people

. . . ever since I hit 60 years old I have noticed my memory going into
reverse. This also goes for being able to interpret just what people mean
on the internet chat boards and/or e-mails. Somehow my name has been
associated with something not good, in my opinion, and I was miss-quoted, I
think! I will not try to interpret what was said but there was a statement
made using my name and after reading it 5-6 times I still can't feel
comfortable with an interpretation for the paragraph.

The original quote from me on the SKS web site
(http://www.aka.org/sks/2006%20Convention/AKA2006Convention.html ) preceding
the 2006 CONVENTION PICTURES was:

"From all of the SKS members to the entire AKA
. . . it was good to see all of you folks again! I know it's about the fish
. . . but it's always good to see you guys again!"

. . . I wrote that to introduce the photos of the Convention to everyone and
the first group of photos was the PEOPLE not the FISH, that was a choice by
me, to tell everyone that I personally missed the people and the fish were
just an excuse to gather. To those of you who know me know that this whole
convention "thing" is about the people and not the "fish" so if Don is
trying to associate me with the reverse this is a quote taken out of context
and out of meaning.

Don says . . . "Mike Jacobs used the words "I know it's about the fish", and
so have others,

and not in any particular context. But obviously Curt, myself and others
aren't

  buying into it."

I would like to be taken OUT of this conversation. I really wish I could
understand the context of Don's message but my mental abilities are
definitely diminished by 4-5 continuous days with no sleep! If I am wrong,
and that is a possibility, then my apologies x 100 ahead of time and just
ignore me . . . most people do anyway!
