Lisa,

Not sure how you're going into Florida, but indeed there are wildfires 
around Daytona last I heard, if I were coming in, I'd take I-95 down to 
I-10, take 10 west till you pick up I-75, then take 75 into Tampa. I don't 
THINK there are fires on the west coast, they seem to be more on the eastern 
side, what my Mother told me is that the Interstate is closed due to bad 
visibility(smoke) not fires on or near the highway itself, of course that 
could have changed since last week!
