Re: [Killietalk] Convention 2009 is on the clock!
Okay, I can answer those questions.
The AKA now provides a grant of $4,000 for the host club to use to put
on the convention, This does not have to be paid back. In addition,
the AKA provides $1,200 for trophies. Again - this does not have to be
paid back, but receipts are needed. You can certainly spend more if you
wish. Third, the N&RSC provides fish to the convention at no cost to
the host club - however, the auction receipts on those fish go to the
AKA.
In a sense you will receive $5,200 directly from the AKA and not have to
purchase N&RSC Auction fish which is a savings of $1,000 plus.
AS soon as the BOT notifies me that the Updated Convention Guidelines
have been approved or I need to make any modifications, it will be
placed online at the AKA Website.
