JC, consider the AKA convention in Tampa over Memorial Day weekend.  You 
will enjoy hundreds of wonderful killifish and be able to buy any of them at 
auction! In addition, you will meet KILLIFISH PEOPLE! Be assured many of the 
attendees will be from our region of the SE USA, but there will be even more 
from all  over the country. This will enable you to meet them face to face 
and do some serious canvassing them for a local killifish club. Looking 
forward to seeing you in Tampa.

For what it is worth, our local club, Suncoast Killifish Society ( we are 
hosting the convention this year), has members from Jacksonville to Miami 
although the majority of us live around the Tampa Bay area. I might add our 
member from Jacksonville attends almost every meeting the chap from Miami 
attends about 30% of our bimonthly meetings. It is great fun and one learns 
a lot and gets many starter killifish from local or affiliate club members.
