If it is a deeper tank they did ok together as the A
lineatus stayed at the tip top of the tank. There
maybe some fin nipping when they do cross into each
others territory but it worked when I did it with just
some chasing the fish back to there area. I never fill
tanks all the way up on my 10s(more like 5 gallon).
Doing it this way I had a fight on my hands and had to
move one of the species. But I only have on true lid
for a 10g tank. I have a few covered with pieces of
glass(old windows) that do not exactly fit so the low
water is to help with jumpers.
