I was having problems with Australe eggs and have started using Acryflavin with them.  I have gotten a few fry hatched that are still alive a couple of days later, so some sort of disinfecting seems to work.  I wonder if a quick dip in chlorinated water and then a transfer to standard hatching water might work as well.
 
I change most of the water with my eggs every day and that also seems to help.
