Good question, I notice both CCDs have the same 
resolution 640 X 480 But I wonder if both have 72 
dpi in millions of colors? The Proscope does.

Comparing shots on the websites look like the 
difference between color corrected high quality 
lenses and plastic ones.

Additionally, the Proscope comes with Mac software and was made for it first.

Glad I made the purchase.
