Re: [Killietalk] Recommendation/opinions requested...
Thanks so much for your input Tony! I respect your opinion more than
anyone's on fish pics, although I understand you photo other subjects, just
never seen em!
I have pretty much decided on a Nikon D50, with a 15-24mm lens. I will
upgrade at a later date for a better macro lens, but for now, I cannot
afford the cost on a macro!
A good friend of mine, Lance Peck suggested the same thing as you did
regarding a better macro lens. He is a stellar photographer, like yourself
and It is nice to hear the same from to Know-it-alls!
I attached a couple of pic's he took wile we were collecting in Peru a few
weeks ago, if you like I can forward them on to you for your collection! He
has collected many fish which have yet to be accurately identified. He is
awaiting to hear from J. Huber to see if the multiple locations of R.
christinae and Aphyo.rubrocaudatus are the same or a different species! I
have several of these locations and look forward to taking photos of them
for my own collection and for other in the AKA.
Look forward to thanking you in person at the National show for all your
help!
