[Killietalk] Reeds around Sarasota Springs

  Hi David,

  At the time there were reeds around about
  one fourth of the pool. As I remember
  they were roughly at the northwest sector.
  Also there was a stream flowing from the ruins
  of a house or old mill in the southwest quadrant.
  This was a very long time ago so these are
  only my impressions and may not be exactly correct.
  This stream looked to be flowing in a manmade
  channel that was only a couple of feet wide,
  but the stream had a large flow volume even though
  the channel was only a couple of feet deep.

  The outflow from the upwelling pool and the stream
  went roughly east to the shallow lake which
  had a large amount of birds on it. This was in
  late feburary or early march.
