[Killietalk] OT: What to do with a possible new species?
Hi all,
This isn't about killies, but I have a 5.5 gallon nano-reef tank with a clownfish and a fairy wrasse. The fairy wrasse is very neat and very colorful. I just can't seem to ID it. I've looked through all the pics of wrasses in the big TFH marine aquarium fish book, and loads of internet pics, and I haven't found anything like it. It's so shy, I can't get a pic. I figure I should preserve it, when it dies, and send it to research (provided I don't ID it before then). It shouldn't be dying any time soon, but I want to be prepared. I can get preserving fluid at school, so that wouldn't be a problem. I would just like to know what to do with it. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Gary
