[Killietalk] black beard algae

I am using seachem flourish and seachem flourish with iron. Should I be
using some other fertilizer????
I also have VHO lighting on the tank 4 three footers for 12 hours a
day. These are fairly old lamps and probably need to be replaced. I think
that maybe the wave length might have changed, even though the light output
is like looking into the sun.
I would purchase the siamese algae eaters if they would do the trick, but I
heard that they wont....anyone have any feedback on this?
Also would the Florida Flag Fish - (Manditory killie content) eat this
peskie BBS?????
Someone also said that Seachem excel would help retard the growth. Anyone
know if this will work and at what concentration????
Thanks for the help.
