The largest that I have ever seen came from John L. Gonzales in 1967. He
sent them to John Willis who entered them in the Fireside Aquarium Society
in mass.
John Willis and I raised fish from that strain for about 12 years. The
colors were not a bright as we have today but they had great fertile eggs.
