Please let it go. Continuing that thread here serves no purpose. I 
already responded to that particular message indicating that I thought 
it was strongly worded, probably too strongly worded, even though I 
realized the underlying motivation. The response was caused by 
frustration. I have discussed it with the individual off list and we 
allow anyone one mistake.

The list has returned to a state of relative normalcy, which I hope 
we'll sustain for a while. Nobody is being draconian here about the 
occasional joke or an occasional somewhat off-topic comment,, but long 
ongoing, off topic, often private, discussions are discouraged. 
Religious and political comments are best avoided as they each can cause 
controversy. Personal insults and foul language are not allowed. The 
list has never been heavily moderated and we trust the participants to 
show common sense, which will allow the list to be self-moderated.
