When we change water for wild collected Nothos in the field, one of our
golden rules is to ensure that the water we use for changing has
approximately the same, or higher, TDS than the water they were in in the
habitat or in the bags. They will always be able to tolerate going from
relatively low TDS water to relatively high TDS water. However, going the
other way is a sure fire recipe for disaster.
