Hi Bob,
Wouldn't replacing low TDS water with low TDS water be less likely to shock? You'd think if harder water was used, it would range in hardness more. Though a small change in the TDS of low TDS water, it would be a fairly high percentage change...

P.S. Yes, Rob, he breeds them often. Now he has a reliable way of raising fry, and some of his rhinoloricaria are in my 10 gallon now :)
