[Killietalk] List complaint (was Re: Digressing fast: was RE: Couple of questions)

I'm with Mr. Simolo on the compaints about these private, inane, 
off-topic, and rather stupid posts to the entire list. Personally, I 
think he was far too kind and gentle. What does it take to convince 
these childish morons that they are being extremely annoying?

I know folks who have not complained, but just unsubscribed from KT.

For the first time in memory, I have found myself trashing major 
percentages of the messages as obviously not even worth opening. 
Nevertheless, they keep cluttering my inbox, despite the requests and/or 
warnings.

This is not a private joke list.

This is not a chat room.

I am formally requesting that Ken Simolo or Barry Cooper take more 
drastic action to clean out the trash on this list. I am tired of trying 
to help, off list, as it obviously has had absolutely no effect. We 
still are getting flooded with posts like the one quoted in its entirety 
below, that are at least as annoying as any SPAM. Unformatted. No 
context. No warning it might be off topic. Completely uninteresting to 
the other 700 or so who had to receive it.

Quite frankly, I have had it. I do hope the moderators will please fix it.
