In cleaning out my office (which I try to do every 10 years or so, 
whether it really needs it or not) I have found a number of back 
issues of AKA, ACA, ALA, and NANFA publications, all in excellent 
condition.  I can no longer store this material.  However, I know 
there are many aquarium history buffs out there who might like to own 
it.  I don't have time to run a long auction, but I will send this 
material, in its entirety, to the person who offers the highest sum 
to be pledged to the American Wildlife Federation by Friday, 3 Feb at 
5:00 PM EST.  That organization, which I respect greatly, is now 
celebrating its 70th birthday.

Here are the "particulars:"

  1.  You e-mail me your pledge amount.  The minimum pledge is $100. 
for the entire collection.  It will not be 
        divided.
  2.  On Friday, 3 Feb, at 5:01 PM EST I pick the highest pledge.
  3.  I notify you if you have made the highest pledge.
  4.  Within two days, you send me docmentation that the funds have 
been tranferred to the American Wildlife 
       Federation.
  5.  I send you the journals by whatever means you specify.
  6.  You reimburse me for the postage by return mail..

Rememeber that your gift will be tax deductible.  You are not 
"purchasing" back issues, they are being offered as an incenive for a 
gift to a qualified organization.
