Re: [Killietalk] Couple of questions
Using RO water WOULD TDS shock a fish, if anything would. If you don't want
to shock them, use calcium or magnesium rich water. I used to breed all
kinds of loricariids, but it resulted from large amounts of cooked
vegetables and massive (75%) water changes every two or three days, whenever
the water started clouding up. I learned this from Tim Adkins in Pittsburgh.
