Hello David!

Thought I would answer here as well.. I have a pet/fish store here on the 
Oregon coast and we get a strain every so often of velvet (Oödinium) that is 
particularly resistant to copper. I have to use a combination of malachite 
and formalin to get the job done, and it can take up to a week at full 
exposure to  get the little critters off the host. It isn't to un common for 
our customers to treat for weeks and not have success! Fortunately, we don't 
see this little bug in our fish room but once in a great wile!
