I never had any luck water incubating blue gularis eggs. The eggs didn't fungus, but I never got any developing embryoes. How ever, I had no problems getting viable fry by putting two conditiioned females in a 15 gallon tank with half an inch of peat moss on the bottom. I'd leave the fish in until the females started getting beat up 924-36 hours) and not feed them until I removed them. I'd then remove the peat moss, drain and dry it to the consistency of fresh pipe tobacco and store it for several weeks in a plastic bag. I'd get three to five dozen fry this way from several wetting of the same peat. Give it a try.
