Lowes offers a fairly good selection of O-rings in the 1/16" and 1/8" size of
various diameters but only a few sizes at the upper end work with the PVC
fittings. Your cost is about $1.15 - $2.00 for a box of 10. At Home Depot,
with Spring coming, look in the section with garden hoses for replacement
washers. Previously they sold a ring of 10 1/8" O-rings for uses as hose
washers but last year they were packaged as a combo pack of O-rings and
washers (5 each). >>

Reading all these various methods of creating bulkhead fittings makes the
one I used even more attractive. I purchased 500 complete (including 2
washers) fittings to fit in a 3/4 inch hole from a supplier for about $0.47 each
complete set. I resold all those I did not use myself for what they cost through
the AKA Classified. I could try to order more but the 500 is the minimum so I
would be required to spend about $250 for them. I have no need for any more
for myself. If I was sure that I could dispose of them I would see if I can
order them again. I should mention that Dave Snell was the origin of this source.
I repeat - these fit nicely in a 3/4 inch drilled hole. The washers were
similar to garden hose washers but about $0.01 each. There is a picture at
