Re: [Killietalk] PBS Nature series, program on Death Valley

The Desert Springs Action Committee holds their annual work weekend at Ash
Meadows every October. I was able to participate in 2003 and 2005. Both
years, when trapping the springs, we only found Convict cichlids in
Fairbanks Spring.
Interestingly, the pupfish population in Fairbanks Spring appeared to be one
of the most robust in terms of size and numbers both years. Undoubtedly,
there are a multitude of factors involved.

Hi Kate

As far as I know the convicts are only up at Fairbanks spring. Do you know
of them anywhere else?
