[Killietalk] Need more males from F. gardneri N'sukka spawns
I have a breeding group of F. gardneri N'sukka in a 30 gallon with a big
clump of java moss, another big clump of java fern and several other
plants rooted in the gravel. After removing the plecostomus and large
snail I am again seeing babies. However, I continue to get almost all
females! I now have about 10 females, two full grown males and about 8
relatively new fry. None of the new fry have yet seemed to show male form.
I understand variations in the number of the sexes is quite common. Are
there any reliable ways of improving the relation of males to females?
