In my experience, the eggs will fungus if they are not fertile and they will 
not fungus if they are fertile no matter what I add or don't add. There may 
be, in a few cases, instances where I found the addition of acriflavine helpful 
for young fish that were just beginning to lay marginally viable eggs.
