I have had some trouble with eggs developing but not properly hatching in the 
past.  This was especially true of water-incubated Red Gularis.  I started 
cutting my water with 50% DI water and the hatching improved quite a bit.


1)       Anyone have any real info on the effect of hardness on fish,
ovaries and, especially eggs. ( I see lots of eggs go bad here). If you
have a technical reference, I'd love to access it.
