This is something about location codes that will always bother me. It's one
thing to keep different populations seperate, but why NOT cross
different collections from the same location if they aren't collected many
years apart? How many A. australe (or any number of other species)
collections have been made from the same location only a year or two apart?
Genetic drift is usually not a fast process, the likelihood that crossing
collections would affect the genetics negatively is probably low. IMO this
is important for long term maintenance of species that don't do well through
progressive generations.
Just my opinion
