Don't you think the desire to collect and breed the fish will their true
name comes after the hook is set. I still have no idea how to pronounce some
killie names(of course I am English and many Americans don't think I tank
right as it is). I had a troop of 20 girl scouts do a field trip to my
fishroom last week and it was hilarious to watch them try to pronounce the
names.
Now that I am a confirmed addict I want the ethics to be perfect, I want my
locations passed along correctly, I don't mind typing the names but please
don't ask me to say them out loud as I have no clue.
If we buy a golden wonder, clown killie, lyretail killie, blue gularis we
know what they are and will label them correctly in our fishroom, we will
sell then or trade them with the correct name. So what is the harm, the die
hard breeders will do it right, the newbies will either get hooked and learn
to do it right or not get hooked and there is no damage.

I see it a lot on here where names have a typo and the sender gets hauled
over the coals for it. A scary thing to happen to a newbie.
Makes me go look in my fishlist names and cut and paste so I don't do a
typo.
This list is for all, so using a language that all can understand should be
ok.

Just another thought: what would catch the attention of a newcomer faster,
Clown Killie or Epiplatys annulatus? Of course informed and knowledgable LFS
