Re: [Killietalk] What to do ?????
I would give my fish to anyone who was interested in a pair, be they lfs
employees or not. The way this hobby grows is through exposure, and the
more people that see/have these fish, the more secure the future of killies
will be. I was actually considering giving a dozen males to my lfs just to
increase local awareness of killies. If you have enough fish to maintain
your breeding stock, why not give/sell extras to whomever?

Subject: [Killietalk] What to do ?????
Hi i am somewhat new to the killie hobby and I have ran into an obstacle
that I am having trouble with. I have been keeping killies for a little
while
and now have started breeding them. My problem is that I now have a few
pairs that are mature enough to trade or sell (Misaje and Nsukka) beutiful
and
very healthy fish that I am very proud of. My problem is that I know an
employee at a lfs and he is interested in getting some of them. I was quite
happy
with this but I am not sure that I would want put them into a fish store, I
would rather sell or trade them with someone who is wanting that type of
fish.
Not just put them in a store to be bought by some kid with cash. I know
killies are hard to find and the person that gave the parents of the fry to
me told
me to have fun and enjoy them and have fun with them but that is also how to
keep your stock going is to breed and I dont want to just get rid of them to
anyone because I don't do it for the cash I do it for the hobby and the
enjoyment.
What should I do??
