Re: [Killietalk] This could be fun

Hi,
I read in the Scandinavian forum that JJ Scheel once kept a community tank of about 350 litres in the late 1960-ies containing Fp sjoestedti as well as Ps annulatus and species in between in size. I think it was Mogens Juhl who wrote about it. Mogens also wrote that he had a community tank based on his collections in Gabon going. So a community tank with killies might very well be an interesting project.

Morning all,

Well it finally happened my oscar of 14 years finally
"past". He will be missed.

Now I have a 75 gallon tank in my living room
competely empty.

I am going to heavily plant it (I could never have
plants with the oscar) and make it a Killie tank
<grin>

I am trying to come up with a killie to put into the
tank. I want to put a pair or two in and let nature
take its course - filling it up (or possiably purchase
a mass of eggs from someone). I want to put a type in
that may intrest possiable new killie folk (I always
have a steady stream of guests)

Right now I am thinking Fund. SoJoe. Blue Gularis....I
am not sure. So I thought I would ask the
"experts"..what would you do???Have fun

On a side note: I made my reservations for the 06 AKA
in Tampa this morning (my first one!)
