I prefer Panacur (fenbendazole). I got a free sample from my vet a few years
ago. He gave me about a tablespoon full. I sprinkled a pinch on the water
surface of each tank. Within two days the hydra was gone. It didn't affect
the fish or fry at all. Others have used Fluke Tabs purchased from the LFS.
