Re: [Killietalk] Killifish as carry-on luggage
I have had no problems with bringing fish on as carry on. I use breathable
bags, and a small gym type bag, the fish are rolled in a single sheet
newspaper and simply stacked ............... I brought back over 100 fish
from Florida on US Airways.
I am a Frequent Flyer on US Airways, and I just received a notice
that Pets and fish will no longer be accepted as checked baggage in order
to align their policies with the new Northwest Airlines merger.
In the same note it state US airways will allow pets and fish as
carry on luggage as long as they fit under the seats or in the
overhead........... fish are mentioned, and also is a fee of $80 for dogs
as carry on...................
I have been looking for the notification in my mail, but I
trashed it............... the date was October..............
I have never been stopped with fish using US Airways and
breathable bags.
