Ditto Gary on this one. No chance at being valedictorian but this
interest is definetly a unique one which none of my friends
share(people do keep pets though and some who know of my interest call
me the "fish expert" hehe). I figure that if I enjoy it, who cares
what others think of it. I guess highschool behavior if you don't
count the fashions is timeless.

I've had several mentors both here on killitalk and on a few other
forums and all have been very friendly and generous. For one thing,
every one of my tanks now have Bobby's plants in them(that would
definetly be a gift that keeps on giving)! Most of you know plenty and
have likely heard this before but if you meet a new member or someone
interested in killifish(teen or not, or personally or through
cyberspace) don't be afraid to take them under your wing and offer
them advice. I'm pretty sure anyone new to the hobby would appreciate
it.

Taking us all off topic how many other young members(or at least
interested in killies) do you guys know of?
