Re: [Killietalk] $26

I really think ppl need to start thinking outside the box here.... Not
what my $26 AKA dues is going to get for me, but what i can get from
being an AKA member. I didnt join this organization 10 years ago for
what material goods i could get ( ie fish, eggs ) but from what i could
learn from the vast experience the members have. Jeff Bilbrough guided
me on my venture into the world of the AKA, taught me so much, spent
hours with me answering all sorts of beginner questions and showing me
first hand how to do alot of things. This experience and knowledge is
what i hoped to gain from the AKA... with each convention i attend i
meet more members from around this country who are more then willing to
just sit and talk fish. Talk fish.... thats what i like. Thats where
i learn. Listening has taught me to learn new ideas to try in my
tanks, new methods of spawning a fish i already was successful with, and
maybe, just maybe become a better fish keeper. The Conventions and
Workshops give me a place to acquire new species, but its the
hospitality room and the lecture talks where i learn how to keep and
maintain them.

This is my $26 worth... And i will gladly pay it until i stop keeping
fish!!
