Re: [Killietalk] NEWS FLASH - Scanned page ONLINE !

Barry,
Will something like Omnipage 15 work on the more recent issues? Maybe the
last 15 to 20 years? I'm thinking that the quality of the originals may be
enough that several people may be able to scan, OCR, format and save it to a
unlocked PDF or word document and send it on cd to someone who will proof it
and make any changes needed. Have it proofed by a couple of people then
lock it and add it to the master.

I'm not trying to say this is taking too long, it's not. I just want it to
happen. I'm willing to help, I need a new scanner anyway and while I'm not
willing to buy Adobe Capture (the 20,000 page license kills that deal)
Omnipage 15 is affordable and I'll use it. I don't think we would need
Omnipage Pro for this, but untill someone decides what will happen nobody
knows.
