Re: [Killietalk] scanning job, Kate Breimeyer and others
Please, everyone please...
I am but a simple "magazine subscriber" errh AKA member, I paid my $25, is
that not sufficient for Killietalk and JAKA to just appear? All this talk
of ideas, work and such, disturbs me and interupts my "subscription"...I
would just assume read what others say about my fish and let anyone else
(with a AKA# "less than" 5000 that is) contribute...
Please direct all further "non-fish" inquiries to the "Electronic suggestion
box" erhh e-mail, while you (nor anyone else) will actually know whats in
there, I can assure you that your suggestion will get the "magazine editors"
full consideration...if deemed "worthy" the "magazine editors" will get back
with you with a request for volunteers...
I am leaving this list until we get back to "fish only"

reader,,,erhh subscriber

Hi Harry,
In my first comment on the subject I suggested that every one contact
Smiling Peter ( because of the photo in the BNL )and tell him of our
interest in it.
I am very happy to see that you would like it also. I talked to Charlie
Grimes yesterday and he said that is something he could and would use if it
was available to the members and he also agrees that the AKA was developed
and has its main aims at education of those interested in killifish.
Thank You I guess a group of us will start on it and get it digitized then
the others can fight over the physical appearance of it. My self I use word
and just about every one I know uses word so I will scan it into word and
make minor corrections till my puter is full or I fry the scanner.
Now I have to get the stuff to copy.Like a dummy I gave mine to Lee Finley a
few years ago when he was here for a copy of Sterbas Freshwater fishes of
the World.
