Re: [Killietalk] blackworms and water quality
When I first started using black worms, I used plain tap water to rinse
them, because that was what the fish store had used. Then I thought that I could
improve on that by adding dechlor to the water. When I added fresh tap
water the worms seemed very active but not distressed. Then I added a drop of
dechlor to the center of the container and the worms went nuts. They tried to
flee the area. Now, I just rinse daily with tap water and they do fine. I
don't even chill the water first. I just use cold water straight from the tap.
