The small sprigs you sent me were all I had, and I was disappointed when
I discovered them gone. None were big enough to feed grown ramshorns, I
fear. If I had known, I could have isolated them until they were big and
lush.
I finally bought some proper fittings for the polyethylene line on my
CO2 system. Welding places closed on weekends, so can't exchange the
empty tank until tomorrow. Basically, I'm hardening the water mostly
with the Jade Beach gravel, adding stump remover, and some Kent trace
stuff. That and good light should be enough.
Why is every pic of the Mudemba so fuzzy? Is it motion blur and shooting
in available light, or is it flash but you just focussed way behind it?
The salad stuff is very crisp-looking, but the fish is a tad ghostly.
I'm trying to get a better shot of the hitchhiker on your plants. It
isn't a BIV, for sure. Getting a good pic of a tiny fish in a sizeable
tank (5G) is a non-trivial task, as you no doubt know. May try for a
real macro shot.
