Re: [Killietalk] Tank Dividers
I have two stories about tank dividers: One good and one bad.
Good: I have a divided 10 which I am using to spawn some E. boroi "Bedu"
that I got at the convention. The male is extremely aggresive. I condition them
separately and then drop them in the same side of the tank for no more than 3
day and then separate them again. Sometimes I get eggs and I now have enough
fry to feel comfortable that I will be able to keep the strain going.
Bad: I had a 20L with a divider and had a pair of Blue Gularis in one side
and a spawning group of Fundulus cingularis on the other. The largest male
Fundulus managed to get over the divider into the Gularis' side. I found him in
two separate parts of the tank when I got home from work.
