[Killietalk] Two Weeks to NEW

North East Weekend is set to go and is just two weeks away!

Its time to get your reservations in to the hotel and registration for
weekend in to Tom Grady, 10 Short Ave., Malone, NY, 12953. Registration
forms can be downloaded from www.killienutz.com Anyone wishing to attend
the Saturday Banquet needs to contact me as soon as possible. UNYKA must
give the hotel the banquet numbers on Oct. 7. If you want to attend, but
planned to pay at the door, please send me an email at
killienutz at killienutz_com so I can get a count.

Friday night looks to be alot of fun. Dave Franco has again traveled south
to Uruguay and also this year into Argentina and will be back with some new
pictures to show of his trip. This is planned to be a relaxed
presentation - more along the lines of sit, see pics and chat about the trip
while enjoying free beer and wine on UNYKA.

Saturday is moving right along with several presentations from Dave Koran,
Dr. Dan Nielsen, Brian Perkins, Andre Schoneville and Dr. Bob Goldstein. In
addition, there will be open box sales permitted once again this year on
Saturday morning. The banquet Saturday evening will be at 7:00pm with a
cocktail hour to precede it. David Boruchowitz will present his program
following the banquet and it should be quite entertaining.

The Sunday auction is looking to be a good one. We have fish coming in from
several special sources and perhaps some brand new wild fish. The auction
will begin at 11am Sunday morning. Please get your fish forms in early so
bags can be marked properly and tags filled out.

This does not mention the books, plants and live food cultures that will be
available throughout the weekend through Lee Finley, AKA Publications (Dick
Martino), Ron Schulz and Dave Franco.

Folks - if you live in the Northeast or anywhere for that matter - this
should be a great weekend! We are looking forward to seeing everyone there.

The fish show competition this year will be part of the KEY (Killie
Exhibitor of the Year) competition and there will be very nice plaques
awarded to the first place fish and separate awards for 2nd & 3rd. Fish
should be shipped to arrive Thursday or Friday at the hotel. Comfort Inn
Airport & Convention Center, 20 Airport Park Blvd., Latham, NY, 12110
(phone: 518-783-1900).
