 That was why I chose to buy annual fish. I had good
results getting the fry to hatch but had bad luck
getting them grown thanks to my son. Now that my
annuals are laying good I have 4 weeks spawns plus
many fish left(I lost 1 of 14) which are still young(3
months). Most say not to buy annuals as they do not
ship well and are already getting old since they are
so short lived. Another reason I think is a batch of
fry normally makes enough for continueing the species
so the rest of the eggs are sold and not raised. I
know I do the same thing with non annuals. I raise
about 50 and them start selling the rest of the eggs.

 BTW any one want some Golden Wonders. 2 to 3 months
old. $4 a pair plus $10 shipping USPS priority mail.
