Re: [Killietalk] Aquarium Sealant

The primary caution to exercise is to avoid any sealant designed for
bathrooms or kitchens and that claims to resist mildew. That mildewcide is likely to
cause problems in an aquarium. On the other hand, if you want a small amount
for a repair job, the small tubes sold in pet stores for aquarium use are
expensive per ounce, BUT, a full caulking gun cartridge will likely turn solid
before you use it again. Resealing them works only for a few days or weeks, but not
for long term storage. Buy only what you need in the near future.
