[Killietalk] NorthEast Weekend Update

  NorthEast Weekend, the regional killifish show and mini-convention is
scheduled for Oct. 14-16 in Latham, NY at the Comfort Inn - Airport &
Convention Center.  We are expecting a great show this year!

  Registration forms, show forms and auction/fish sale forms are in the
process of being mailed to all regional affiliate clubs and the packet of
information should arrive this week - hopefully in time for your monthly
meetings.  All of these forms can also be downloaded from www.killienutz.com
for your convenience.

   This year's group of speakers include Andre Schoneville, Dr. Robt.
Goldstein, Brian Perkins, Dave Koran and the keynote spekaer for the banquet
will be David Borochuwitz, editor of TFH magazine.  We are expecting to hold
an interactive workshop on live foods, but focused on the health and feeding
process, not culturing, on Saturday morning, similar to the one we held last
year on nothobranchius eggs.

  Arrangements are being made for a special importation of killies from
Europe and also purchased from the AKA N&RSC.  Big John Wubbolt will once
again be the primary auctioneer - so all sales are final or else.

  Hope to see everyone there this year ... it can only get bigger and
better.
