Aha - my bad.  I was hitting "enter."  I must have clicked on "select" for the name that did give results. But this illustrates my point about usability:  the standard for online searches is that "enter" initiates the search.  I spend great amounts of time daily searching for info online (part of my job).  While I made an error with the Find Memebers function, it's an error that many would make.  So, let the "web stoopid" I just made stand as an example of one way the site could be made more goof proof.
