Joel, the first Species Profile in JAKA that I wrote was on Script schmitti........ I don't remember the issue ... Maybe the second issue of '04

Here is a partial from the breeding and maintenance section:

". These fish may be raised in a permanent set up containing Java moss and floating plants, some young will survive and may be raised with the parents. Authors disagree as to the first food, some indicate fry are capable of taking newly hatched baby brine shrimp and other indicate infusoria is required for the first few days. The present author transfers newly hatched fry to a small container which contains water from an established aquarium. A small piece of Java moss is included as is some green water and a small amount of paramecium ??. Within 24 hours a small amount of newly hatched baby brine is added. The eggs used for newly hatched fry are smaller than the Utah Brand. This insures that there is adequate food sizes for all fry. Growth reports have varied, but sexual maturity is reached between 4 6 months depending on diet and care."
