Think of it this way; you have accumulated a life time of "files,
folders and programs". Takes a while for a processor running even at 3.4
GHz to sort through all of it.

I think your memory is big enough. The problem when you get to our age
is the
computer speed, not the memory allocated. It takes me three days to
remember
the name of someone I went to high school with. The facts are all still
there,
the retrieval is slow. I claim it is because there is so much other
stuff in
that memory that it has to get retrieved from too deep.
