A corollary to that is those folks who want to buy wild fish from a collector
for practically nothing. After all, the collector got them for "free". If I
charged my costs for either wild fish or home grown fish, I am sure it would
average more than $25/pair. That is without any profit or even labor or overhead
costs, just the cost of equipment, food, electricity and water is
significant. Let alone the cost of collecting or buying the original fish, factoring in
the inevitable losses. No, you cannot make money selling killifish. On the
other hand, you can have an enjoyable hobby and make lots of friends.
