That's right¡ I think isolation "helps".
Now I keep the pairs of fry for ten days isolated.
After I join them in a 10 liters aquarium all together
(same species). All the fry at 22-24ºC. Today I have
seven fry of avichang, 4 females and 3 males (One fry
died in the small recipient).
In several tests with different species I isolated the
two fry in a 5 liters aquarium until I can determine
the gender without mistake. Fp. avichang and
others I can determine the gender in a month. Their
growth is very fast.
Others like A. ogoense or Pseude. annulatus take more
time because their colors are very similar in both sex
at the young age.
I waited for all. I wanted be sure that it wasn't a
chance or luck getting couples.
As I said in the most of times the sex ratio is near
1:1.
Except the SAA species. I think we need search  the
range of temperatures of SAA. Maybe higher or lower
than aphyosemion. That's another work.
